The Blackfoot Confederacy: The Kainai Nation

This is a visual storytelling of the history and key aspects of the Kainai (Blood Tribe) of the Blackfoot Confederacy. The Kainai people are deeply rooted in the history of Alberta, in relation to the Treaty 7 agreements. Their connection to the land runs incredibly deep, and their history predates the settlers of Canada by decades. It is important that we, as guests on the land honour and respect the traditions of the Kainai people and preserve the land for the future of all.

Please watch my visual story here.
